5. How do I do a search in MCDESiGN?

MCDESiGN offers you different methods for searching. The simplest search is done from the Expert Search box on the MCDESiGN homepage. On the Expert Search box, you can search by key-words, dates or Locarno classes. More complex searches also can be performed using the desired field prefixes.

6. How do I view design images?

You can see a thumbnail view of the design image for each of your design patents. To see all details, drawings, click on the image and view.

7. How do I use the Boolean search for Expert search?

Boolean operators AND, OR, or NOT help to define the relationship between your search fields. Eg: Car AND wheel

8. How do I use the Boolean search for quick search?

Boolean operators AND, and OR can be used in quick search using following syntaxes:
AND : &&
OR: ||
Eg: bicycle && Hero

Wild card operator * can be used for searches. Eg: carpet*
